I was born in Ljubljana, SLOVENIA (06.12.1977.)
Finished secondary school for design "Bogdan Suput" in a beautiful city Novi Sad (Serbia).
During my education years I've worked as an illustrator for leather manufacturing company
"Manual" www.themanualco.com from Novi Sad. You can see my "Manual" illustrations on My comic book art page.
At the time my professor and mentor was photorealist (hyperrealist) Dragan Malesevic TAPI.
He was among 12 top world hyperrealists at the time.
Thus my interest in photorealism (hyperrealism) begun.
I always admired him when see him painting under magnified glass. It was incredible. So I
started to experiment..
I was only 14 when I created my first photorealistic painting done with water colors and
poster paints.
I was working on it for a month.
Without magnified glass though...obviously that was too much for the kid haha!
I do respect and practice other artistic movements as well, such as abstract, expressionism,
surrealism and other walk of art.
But I prefer photorealism and I enjoy it very much.
My fields of interests are Fine arts, comic books, movies&music and history.
I mostly create photorealism (very detailed artwork) paintings.
I love to paint marine life, underwater sequences, coral reefs and wild-life. Animal world
to be exact.
It is a joy for me to create such paintings. It takes a lot of patience and love to paint
such detailed paintings.
Few of my paintings are on the walls of World Financial Center offices in New
York.
Italian comic school is my favorite and over 50 years old, publishing house Sergio Bonelli
Editore www.sergiobonellieditore.it with its character Zagor.
It is because of Zagor comics that I became an artist. Tex Willer
(western was very popular at the time) and Zagor were most popular italian comic book characters
in a post-war Italy. And they still are today after 50 years. Great Joe Cubert illustrated one
of the Tex Willer western stories. Zagor has tradition with over 500 regular issues and not to
mention special issues with cca 130 illustrated pages per issue. Every regular issue consists of
cca 94 illustrated sequential pages. Many different artists and script-writers worked on Zagor.
Zagor is created in 1961 by Guido Nolitta and Gallieno Ferri. You can see all about Zagor on
My comic book art page.
I had done illustrations and comics for NBM Publishing from New York, Semic France Comics and
Zagor comic book for Sergio Bonelli Editore is under way. I am a film nut. I had a privilege to
meet Hollywood actress Denise Crosby at Star Trek Convention in Novi Sad in 2003.
I saw her first in a horror movie Pet Sematary. So I approached her with the actual lines/threat
from the movie. She was shocked. She told me later that I'd made a great performance and she
autographed her photo and gave it to me. It was fun. My favorite movies are Braveheart, The Patriot,
Schindler's List, all 4 Alien series and LOTR (Lord of the Rings).

Braveheart is done with such passion. Absolutely every time I watch it, brings tears in my eyes.
And it is very artistically done. Mel Gibson proved to be great movie maker.
From Braveheart on, everything he touches is a miracle.
My dream is to create and publish my full color comic book Braveheart (frame by frame
representation of the movie).
You can see first few pages and a cover on My comic book art page.
John Anderson macbraveheart.co.uk from Scotland failed to obtain copyright permissions from
Mel's Icon Productions for printing because the copyright charges were too damn high. Very expensive.
Therefore I am yearning for help. If anyone who read this can get in touch with Randall Wallace
(Braveheart script-writer), Mel or his relatives to let them know about my Braveheart comic book,
it would be great.
Everyone who can help please email me at photorealzeljko@yahoo.com
I would like Mel to know about this so he can help to avoid ridiculous bureaucracy and make an
effort for Braveheart comic book to be published without complicated copyright permissions procedures.
I am sure that Mel Gibson would wanted this to be done. If he only knew...
So please bear with me...all who can get in touch with him or anyone close to him, please let me know.
I am sure that there are Brave Hearts out there who can help this to be done.
Mel Gibson and Randall Wallace's acquaintances who read this please contact me.
Other option is to raise money through this site for copyright charges, but that is my last option.
Depends on your very much needed help.
Schindler's List is most touching film I ever saw..Liam Neeson's performance is beyond miracle.
Great actor. It is because Schindler's List that I became amateur historian and expert for WWII
(Second World War). Spielberg achieved what he wanted. He made us think about it. And more I learn
about WWII, greater pacifist I am. The legacy of Justice Robert H. Jackson will be remembered for
all eternity as well as his brilliant opening statement before the International Military Tribunal at
Nuremberg. Visit www.roberthjackson.org .

English blues musician from Middlesboro, Chris Rea www.chrisrea.com www.chrisrea.nl ,
often referred as "English Springsteen", is my favorite musician.
If I were a God I would have given him an eternal life. Such a voice, such a slide...
After several decades of making fantastic music, amazingly he never once had a gig in the US.
His MTV debut was smash hit song The Road To Hell. Ring a bell?
Among other hit songs are Let's Dance, On The Beach, Josephine, Julia, Fool If You Think It's Over,
The Blue Cafe, Que sera, Driving Home For Christmas, Auberge, Red Shoes, Johnny Needs A Fast Car,
Windy Town, Steel River, Winter Song, Gone Fishing, King Of The Beach, All Summer Long, You're Not
A Number, Ace Of Hearts, Looking For The Summer, Giverny, Hello Friend, Little Blonde Plaits, Square
Peg Round Hole, You Must Be Evil, Sweet Summer Day, Stony Road, Girl In A Sports Car,...and some 350
of his other beautiful songs. Ol' rascal is very creative and productive...
Chris Rea&Elton John song If You Were Me. Needless to say that Chris Rea made an enormous impact on
my life. His songs are inspiration for my art and paintings. His deep baritone voice and beautiful
lyrics with colorful tunes are heaven for my ears. And that's why I love him. All of his songs comes
straight from his heart. You can feel that while listening to his music. He is true to his music and
one of the few remaining artists who makes music with passion and from the heart.

To those whom Chris Rea is unfamiliar, think of Leonard Cohen, Mark Knopfler and Barry White-similar
baritone voices. Also my favorites.
I also love to paint with James Horner and John Williams great film scores. Especially Braveheart,
The Patriot and Schindler's List. Unforgettable...
I consider these two Hollywood film composers, John Williams and James Horner as "21-st century
Beethovens". Their compositions are absolutely brilliant.
Among my cd collection besides above mentioned are Frank Sinatra, Lisa Stansfield, Bruce Springsteen,
Kenny Rogers, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Sting, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Elvis, Beatles,
Shania Twain, Madona, ABBA, ZZ Top, Eagles,...and many many others who decorated my life with their
wonderful creations.

"Only Fools and Horses" is my favorite British comedy ever. I always laugh to tears watching Del&Rodney.
Great British actors. "Allo,Allo" is also great. Great memories from the past...
I admire wonderful performances of Mel Gibson, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Liam Neeson,
Sir Antony Hopkins, Ian Holm, Ian McKellen, Gary Oldman, Tom Hanks, Morgan Freeman, Harvey Keitel,
Kevin Costner and Michael Douglas and many others.

Grace Kelly is my Mona Lisa. I am great fan of Princess Grace.
Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland are my favorites among golden oldies.
Especially love them in Raoul Walsh western from 1942. "They Died With Their Boots On", which is to be
their last performance together. Hollywood- fabric of dreams is full of various artists of every kind
and that is why I love it. Although cruel and many times unfair,Tinsel Town flourishes our imagination.

I always want to explore and learn new things in life. I read a lot. Something always urge me to learn,
watch and explore. And it is never enough. The more I learn, more I want to explore. By this we become
better human beings.

I speak, read and write fluently english, slovenian and serbian language.
